Carroll County Creative Arts Center

The Carroll County Creative Arts Center is a non-profit community space for promoting, supporting and presenting the creative arts in Carroll County.

We accomplish this mission by providing galleries, classrooms and performance space at the historic Hale Wilkinson Carter Home and other venues across the county.

Classes

An assortment of studio spaces are available for teaching and learning a a variety of arts and crafts such as fabric, painting, clay, book binding, dance, puppetry and more.

Studio Rentals

Private studio space is available for short and long term arrangements for those times when a change in your creation space is desired.

Performances

Check out our intimate indoor and outdoor spaces for parlor concerts, a capella performances, and spoken word events.

Workshops & Retreats

Our spaces work well for workshops in a variety of art forms, such as theatrical coaching, special theme projects and jam sessions.

Emerging Artists

We partner with others to provide creative learning experiences and scholarships to graduating high school seniors interested in pursuing careers benefiting the cultural arts and natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. View some past scholarship recipients.

Field Trips

Small groups go on a day trip, visiting regional venues (usually within a 1-2 hours travel distance) to experience exhibits, performances, retreats, workshops and more.
